President Nicolae Timofti signs national accountability pact for European Moldova
"I signed the agreement with a firm confidence that the process of European integration has no alternative. This project gives us a clear prospect for the development and modernisation of the country. The Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius is a historical opportunity that will determine the future of Moldova. I welcome the maturity of representatives of the political class and civil society who signed this convention and committed to support Moldova’s European transformation reforms", said President Nicolae Timofti.
“The starting of projects on energy interconnection between Romania and Moldova offers new prospects for developing the mutual cooperation,” Titus Corlatean underlined. 
“The WB partnership strategy with Moldova was approved on 5 September 2013. It provides for earmarking 570 million dollars the next four years to support the reforms” he said. 
The Supreme Security Council took a decision recommending that the competent state institutions adjust the national environmental legislation to the EU standards, and carry out the institutional reform of the environmental protection bodies. 
„The United States is willing to provide more assistance to Moldova, including financial one, in order to help it get closer to the western area,” the official added.
