The Head of State met with Claus Neukirch, Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, at the end of his mandate in our country

The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met today with Claus Neukirch, Head of the OSCE Mission in Chisinau, who is ending his mandate in our country.

The officials discussed several current issues, in particular the situation in the Transnistrian region in the context of the war in Ukraine. The Head of State stressed the importance of a peaceful dialogue between the two banks of the Dniester River, the respect for the human rights and the provision of social and security guarantees to all citizens. She also expressed confidence in good cooperation with the OSCE in the future.
