Dear citizens, dear people,
On this important day for all of us, I wanted to talk to you about Moldova. That it is beautiful, that it is dear to us. That it exists through its beautiful people.
And I asked the children. They feel better. Because they filter what they see, what they feel through a pure heart, unclouded by today's problems and tomorrow's worries.
Dear President Zelensky, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,
We met in Kyiv a year ago to voice our strong support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, including Crimea. The Crimea Platform was established with an understanding that the international order only works when it is based on rules, inviolability of borders, non-use of force, non-interference in internal affairs, respect for human rights and economic development. Few imagined that all of these would be shattered.

It’s a pleasure to be here with you today. Even if it is my first time in Alpbach, I did hear it’s one of the most inspirational places to be here, to exchange ideas, thoughts and find common solutions for the challenges that we are facing as a continent, as a world.
