Dear Chancellor Olaf Scholz, welcome to the Republic of Moldova!
I am glad to greet you in Chisinau. This is the first bilateral visit of a German chancellor to our country in the last 12 years, and is an opportunity to reaffirm the importance we attach to our relationship with the Federal Republic of Germany and to strengthen this cooperation.
Distinguished guests, We are here today to talk peace. We all want peace. But what truly defines peace? We know for sure what peace is not.
