President Sandu discussed the efforts our state authorities are making to tackle the current challenges with the EU Commissioner for Home Affairs
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met with the European Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ilva Johansson, who is on a working visit to Chisinau today. The officials discussed the security situation in the region, as an aftermath of the Russian military aggression in Ukraine and the refugees’ flow caused by this war.
The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met today with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who is visiting our country. They discussed the consequences of the war in Ukraine for the Republic of Moldova and the efforts of its authorities to carry on the country's development projects, despite the difficult security situation in the region. The Head of State emphasised that the Republic of Moldova continues to rely on cooperation with the United Nations in order to respond more effectively to the numerous challenges our country is facing. 
The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met today with U.S. Senator Steve Daines, a member of the Republican Party from Montana state. The officials discussed the security situation in Moldova, the impacts of the war in Ukraine on our country and the bilateral agenda. 
The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu received today at an official ceremony the letters of accreditation of four new Ambassadors to our country: H.E. Tomasz Kobzdej, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland; H.E. Pavol Ivan, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic; H.E. Levan Diasamidze, Ambassador of Georgia and H.E. Almat Aidarbekov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 
The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met yesterday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to the Republic of Moldova Marjut Akola. The discussion focused on the current security situation in Moldova and in the region, as well as the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
