The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met on Friday with several members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, who were on a working visit to Chisinau. The discussion focused on our European agenda, the Moldovan-Dutch relations, the security situation in the region and the economic consequences of the war in Ukraine on Moldova.
At the end of her visit to Paris, President Maia Sandu met with Remy Rioux, General Director of the French Development Agency. The discussion focused in particular on the projects that this institution will implement in the Republic of Moldova starting this year.

The topics discussed included the security situation in the region, our country's reform agenda, as well as the government's capacity to manage the various crises Moldova is facing right now.

The meeting focused on the major impact the war in Ukraine has on the Republic of Moldova and the region as a whole.
