The head of state spoke with the Ambassador of Ukraine, Marko Shevchenko, in the context of marking one year since the Russian invasion
Today, when we commemorate one year since the beginning of Russia's war against Ukraine, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, had a meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine in Chisinau, Marko Şevcenko. The head of state sent her condolences to all those who lost their loved ones in this unjustified war. Ukrainians have all our admiration for the courage with which they defend their homeland, defend us and defend the entire European continent in the face of Russian aggression.
The head of state ended her working visit in Bucharest at the Palace of Parliament, where she spoke with the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu, about the support of the ruling coalition in Romania for projects for the Republic of Moldova. They also discussed ways to expand economic cooperation and our efforts to maintain stability. 
Moldovan President Maia Sandu greeted Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă in Bucharest today and discussed cooperation in areas of strategic interest, such as energy, infrastructure, and transport. 
Moldovan President Maia Sandu was on a working visit to Bucharest at the invitation of Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.
"I gladly accepted the invitation of President Klaus Iohannis to come to Bucharest and talk about our excellent relations and joint projects. 
In Warsaw, where the international community marked one year since the start of Russia's war against Ukraine, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda. 
During the Munich Security Conference over the past two days, the head of state held several meetings with counterparts, government officials, and leaders of international organizations. 
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met in Munich with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium, Alexander de Croo. The two discussed how the war affects our country and what we are doing to speed up reforms.
