Moldovan president appoints ambassador to Switzerland by decree
President Nicolae Timofti today signed a decree on appointing Tudor Ulianovschi as Geneva- based Moldovan ambassador to Switzerland and also as Moldova’s Permanent Representative to the UN office in Geneva.
Moldovan head of state appoints eight ambassadors under presidential decrees
Before signing the decrees, the head of state had a meeting with the nominated ambassadors, during which the officials tackled aspects of Moldova’s foreign policy and the situation in the enlarged region of the Black Sea.

Moldovan president awards Order of Honour to Romanian official
The distinction was awarded to Arafat as a token of „high appreciation of the special merits in the implementation of the Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication (SMURD) in Moldova, for contribution to the development of cross-border relations and intense work to train staff in the field of providing emergency medical assistance".
