Allow me to congratulate you personally and on behalf of all the people of Moldova on your birthday.
You have become one of the most authoritative spiritual leaders of the whole world. In each of your sermons you remind of eternal values, you call for love, good, social justice, patriotism, preservation of traditional values.
Not only Orthodox Christians listen to your words, but also representatives of other religions. Your pastoral word is important precisely today, when traditional values are being destroyed all over the world, religious extremism and enmity between fraternal peoples are provoked.
Taking this opportunity, I again invite you to visit our country with a pastoral visit and take part in the World Congress of Families, which will be held in 2018 in Chisinau. I want to assure you that the Moldovan people will always remain faithful to the Mother Church, as our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers have preserved this fidelity. Sincerely I wish you strong health, vitality and God's help for many and good years!
