On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of India, on behalf of the people of the Republic of Moldova and my own, I have the pleasure to send you sincere congratulations, accompanied by wishes of well-being and peace for the Indian people.
On this occasion, I would like to express my hope for the continued expansion of friendly relations between our countries by boosting political, economic and cultural ties at both interparliamentary and intergovernmental levels, so that Moldovan-Indian cooperation has the huge potential.
At the same time, I am convinced that through joint efforts we will contribute to building a climate of trust, peace and security for our peoples - essential conditions for a democratic and prosperous society.
