The President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon participated in the Decoration Ceremony of the National Army contingent that had taken part in the military parade in Moscow, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The presence of the contingent from the Republic of Moldova, consisting of 75 soldiers, was a tribute to our compatriots who had sacrificed their lives for the Great Victory. The head of state thanked the soldiers of the Honor Guard for the fact that they had deservedly presented the Republic of Moldova together with the military from many other countries, demonstrated an excellent military training and had an impeccable performance. Igor Dodon presented each soldier with the Honorary Diploma of the President.
We recall in this regard that the last time the contingent of the Republic of Moldova marched on the Red Square 10 years ago, on the Parade dedicated to the 65th Anniversary of the Great Victory.
