Moldovan president meets Russian delegation of inter-parliamentary friendship group

President, Igor Dodon, had a meeting today with the Russian delegation led by the Chairman of Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on CIS, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots matters, Leonid Kalashnikov

During the meeting, the sides discussed the results of the recent high – level visits of the Moldovan delegation to Russia, after which, according to them, it has been a visible activation of the Moldovan – Russian relations.

Igor Dodon stressed the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation, including inter – segment for Moldova-Russia friendship group.

The parts established an action plan to boost bilateral cooperation. It was discussed organization, in March – April, in Chisinau, a major event dedicated to cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and Moldova.

From Russian delegation visiting Chisinau, headed by Leonid Kalashnikov, also includes Mikhail Krotov, chief of the Committee group on CIS, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots patterns; Oleg Lebedev, deputy chairman of the Council of Experts and Consultation under the specified Committee.

The meeting was attended by Andrei Neguta, presidential adviser on foreign policy and Zinaida Greceanii, PSRM’s chairman and chief of Moldova and Russia inter-parliamentary friendship group.
