President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, held a working session during which he together with the Presidential Advisers Elena Gorelova and Ion Perju discussed organization of the second edition of Moldovan-Russian Economic Forum, which will take place in Chisinau, on September 20-21, 2019.
The program will integrate two main topics of the discussion: cooperation of the business community of the two countries and cooperation of the regions of the Republic of Moldova and Russian Federation.
Furthermore, it was highlighted that ten of the Russian regions have already signed collaboration agreements with district and municipal administrations in our country. Igor Dodon counts that planned Forum will become an excellent platform for further rapprochement of regions and business communities in Moldova and Russia.
As well, the Head of State mentioned, that during the last month plenary improvement took place in Moldovan-Russian relations. “Intergovernmental Commission for Commercial-economical Cooperation resumed its activity and Russian business expresses increasing interest in the Republic of Moldova”, stressed President of the Republic of Moldova.
Noting that first edition of the Moldovan-Russian Economic Forum successfully took place in Chisinau on September, 2018. More than 700 representatives of the business community from the both of countries participated in the work. Seven agreements of foreign investments in Moldovan economy were signed for the total amount of several tens of millions of USD.
