The head of state had a meeting with a delegation of the International Monetary Fund led by Alfred Kammer, Director of the Fund's European Department, in Chisinau.
During the discussion, they talked about the regional situation in our country, which is complicated but stable. President Maia Sandu stressed that the government's priorities are to maintain peace and stability, overcome the crisis in the energy sector and revive the economy. The head of state spoke of the need to increase business access to cheaper financing, and investments needed to strengthen energy security and adapt to climate change.
